Crossing New Milestones – NKG Infrastructure

Leading the infrastructure sector from the forefront, NKG Group has been instrumental in giving shape to the new generation India with world class infrastructure. Playing a key role in development of India’s infrastructure, the NKG Group has now broken many of its records in its latest financial year performance. The greatest indicators of the record smashing performance include the heavy order book position which now exceeds orders worth Rs 4,000 crore. Such prestigious orders and their professionally managed execution has led to a turnover that now exceeds Rs 1,000 core. Speaking about the company’s achievements, Pradeep Garg, M.D., NKG Infrastructure, says: “These impressive results have been made possible from some of the most prestigious projects bagged by us. A notable feature of NKG’s growth is that we only venture into mega projects of national stature.“ According to the results released by the NKG Infrastructure, the net profit of the company has increased by 133.74% at Rs 51.47 crore. The total revenue too shows a jump of an impressive 89.32% with income from operations showing Rs 1,025.81 crore and total income at Rs 1028.84 crore. Such impressive figures have taken the EPS from Rs 21 last year to Rs 41.48 in the year 2010.In pursuit of high profile projects, the Group has been able to expand its presence through UP, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal, Haryana, Orissa, Maharashtra and Delhi. During the course of its self-propelled growth, the company has been awarded projects by the top companies and institutions such as ESIC, NHAI, L&T, Development Authorities, N.B.C.C. ADB funded, U.P.R.N.N., M.P.R.D.C., D.H.V.B.N., H.R.I.D.C., C.P.W.D., state PWDs and more.

For various state and central government agencies, NKG is currently busy with the construction of 689 kms of road construction and over 80 lakh sq feet of building space is also under construction. Also under construction are 11.65 kms of bridges and flyovers. Making an indelible mark in power sector, NKG has commissioned upto 220 KVA sub station, not to mention 33 MW of hydro and thermal power projects still under construction.

A notable project of NKG includes the Lucknow-Kanpur Elevated Expressway mega project, NKG Infrastructure truly represents the booming India’s infrastructure sector. Its pursuit of professional excellence has also recently been acknowledged by Institute of Economic Studies (IES) which awarded the company with the prestigious Excellence Award for its contributions in the field of infrastructure development and towards overall economic growth of the country. Pradeep Garg, MD, NKG Infrastructure, has also been awarded the Udyog Rattan Award for his dynamism and role in leading the company towards greater heights.

The self-propelled growth of NKG Infrastructure is indeed expanding in multiple directions. The company soon intends to feed this growth with a public issue.
